MyID.ca DOT CA Auction Bidder Eligibility Process
N.B. To be able to bid on the current auction, the bidder agreement must be returned by Thursday 12:30 pm EDT
To participate in the DOT CA Auctions as a bidder, the following must be completed:
- Complete the authentication process (one time only).
- Documents needed: Two Government issued photo IDs or one photo ID and a recent utility bill or bank statement.
- Sending the documents:
- Scan and email your photo ID(s) and/or documents to support@myid.ca (include your MyID.ca username)
- Fax legible photocopies to (866) 224-4095. Please note that we have received many illegible
documents in the past that had to be resent. We will not authenticate anyone to the auction unless every single document we receive is legible.
Bidder Auction Agreement :
Download the bidder agreement, fill in the required info, date it, sign it, then either scan and
email it to support@myid.ca or fax it to (866) 224-4095. Make sure you include your MyID.ca username either way.
No bidding is possible by any person that has not sent us a signed and complete bidder agreement. No exceptions will be made to anyone under any circusmtance.
Note that if you are currently listing any of your domains in the auction, and are interested in bidding on any of the other domains listed, then you
must send us the signed bidder agreement as well.
Verify that your MyID.ca info is correct:
We must have correct contact info in your account profile including the spelling of your name and your
phone number. We will verify that the info is correct and only those with correct info will be able to participate.
Specify the registrant number to which we should transfer the domains in auctions you win. If you already have a CIRA registrant, you need
to specify it here. Otherwise, you can create a new registrant here.
